Description

  • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Use a variety of tools, equipment, and instruments to perform quality inspections and tests, such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, and spectrophotometers.
  • Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain detailed records/documentation of quality control activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and reliable product quality.
  • Identify and document quality control checkpoints and critical control points in the production process.
  • Identify and document non-conformities, deviations, and quality issues, and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Communicate non-conformities and quality issues to relevant stakeholders and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and quality of incoming materials and components through inspection, testing, and supplier audits.
  • Work closely with procurement and supplier management teams to address supplier quality issues and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality performance.
