Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Establish quality control checkpoints, inspection criteria, and acceptance criteria for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional inspections, and functional tests on materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Use measurement tools, instruments, and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to conduct precise measurements and ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inspection and test data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare quality control reports, trend analyses, and performance metrics to communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction through continuous monitoring and analysis of quality control data.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformities, deviations, and quality issues identified during inspections and testing.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and quality improvement initiatives to drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
