Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize sourcing and procurement activities, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms to secure favorable agreements and achieve cost savings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, and manage supplier performance through regular performance reviews, supplier scorecards, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules, and address issues or discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, inventory management, and sales teams, to forecast demand, plan purchases, and ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
  • Analyze inventory levels, consumption patterns, and market trends to optimize inventory management and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders (POs), requisitions, and procurement documents using procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Track and monitor POs throughout the procurement lifecycle, from requisition to receipt and payment, and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality issues, or discrepancies in quantities or prices.
