Description

Diagnose and treat respiratory disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and lung infections.
Conduct pulmonary function tests, chest X-rays, CT scans, and other diagnostic procedures to assess lung health.
Develop treatment plans for patients with chronic lung conditions, advising on medications, inhalers, and lifestyle modifications.
Provide critical care for patients with respiratory failure, including managing mechanical ventilation and administering oxygen therapy.
Manage patients with sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions.
Educate patients about preventive measures, including smoking cessation, managing allergies, and avoiding environmental pollutants.
Work closely with other specialists, such as intensivists, cardiologists, and allergists, to manage complex pulmonary cases.
Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and lung biopsies to diagnose and treat pulmonary conditions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in pulmonology, including new therapies, medications, and technologies.
