Description

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments, to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide evidence-based treatment modalities, including psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, to address a wide range of mental health disorders, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, and primary care physicians, to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients with complex mental health needs.
Offer crisis intervention and management for patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises, such as suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, severe agitation, or psychosis, to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, promoting empowerment and self-management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic health record (EHR) systems or other documentation platforms.
