Description

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions based on clinical interviews, medical history, and psychological testing.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs, incorporating evidence-based treatments such as medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting dosages and treatment regimens as necessary to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects.
Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to address patients' emotional and behavioral concerns.
Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, conducting regular follow-up appointments, and making modifications to treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and ensure integrated treatment approaches for patients with complex mental health needs.
Conduct psychiatric consultations and provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute psychiatric emergencies or behavioral disturbances.
