Description

Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health status, including history, symptoms, and functional impairments.
Utilize diagnostic criteria from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, incorporating a combination of pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, adjusting dosages and treatment regimens as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes and minimize side effects.
Provide psychotherapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and psychodynamic interventions, to address patients' psychological and emotional needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, including case management, referrals to specialty services, and crisis intervention.
