Responsibilities

• Mind and Brain Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and assessment techniques to patients with various mental health concerns. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for improving the lives of patients.
• Psychiatrists are professionals in the mental health space who specialize in helping clients cope with their mental health concerns by prescribing medication. They are the equivalent of medical doctors but in the mental health space.
• Excellent communication skills to manage a wide range of relationships with colleagues, and patients and their families.
• Emotional resilience, a calm temperament and the ability to work well under pressure.
• teamwork and the capacity to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications. Arranges further medical attention when necessary. Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.
