Job Description

1. Teach and train MBBS & MS/DNB General Surgery students through lectures, ward teaching, and clinical demonstrations.
2. Provide expert surgical care including elective and emergency surgeries.
3. Supervise residents, senior residents, and junior faculty in clinical and academic work.
4. Conduct and guide research projects, thesis work, and publications as per NMC norms.
5. Participate in examinations, curriculum development, and academic committees.
6. Lead departmental clinical rounds, morbidity & mortality meetings, and audits.
7. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, NMC guidelines, and patient safety standards.
8. Contribute to departmental administration, quality improvement, and institutional development.
