Description
- Assist in developing production schedules and plans in coordination with the production planning team to meet production targets and customer demand.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and resources required for production.
- Supervise and coordinate production activities on the shop floor to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Provide guidance and support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of production processes, equipment, and finished goods to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Manage manpower, machinery, and materials effectively to optimize production output and minimize waste.
- Monitor resource utilization, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for production teams.
- Conduct safety inspections, promote safety awareness, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
