Description

Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production plans and schedules in coordination with sales, procurement, and logistics departments to meet customer demands and production targets. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimize resource utilization.
Supervision of Production Operations: Supervise and coordinate production activities, including assembly, machining, packaging, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders. Provide guidance and support to production teams to resolve issues and maintain productivity.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement and prevent defects.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply for production requirements. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the production facility to ensure a safe working environment for employees and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct safety training sessions and promote awareness of safety best practices among production staff.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the production operations. Implement lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen initiatives, and other improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, quality metrics, and downtime. Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, evaluate performance against targets, and make data-driven decisions to drive operational improvements.
Team Management and Development: Lead, motivate, and develop production teams through effective coaching, training, and performance management initiatives. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
