Description

Operate and monitor compression machines (tablet press) to produce tablets according to batch production records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure that all parameters, including weight, hardness, thickness, and appearance, meet the product specifications.
Set up and calibrate compression equipment for each production run.
Adjust machine settings such as punch and die set, speed, and compression force to ensure proper tablet formation.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, equipment usage, and in-process controls.
Record any deviations or issues during the compression process in logbooks or batch production reports.
Conduct in-process checks during compression, such as tablet weight, thickness, hardness, and friability tests.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and product specifications.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance of compression machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshoot any issues with tablet press machines, including sticking, weight variation, or machine malfunction, and report them to the maintenance team for further repair.
