Description

Operate coating machines such as pan coaters or fluid bed coaters to apply various coatings (film, sugar, enteric) on tablets.
Set machine parameters (temperature, air pressure, spray rate, etc.) and ensure the coating process is carried out as per the batch production records.
Set up coating machines for each batch by installing appropriate punches, nozzles, and adjusting settings based on the type of coating required.
Calibrate the equipment according to the specified formulations and operating parameters.
Maintain accurate records of each production run, including batch numbers, machine settings, coating materials used, and any issues encountered during the process.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform in-process quality checks to ensure the coated tablets meet the required thickness, appearance, uniformity, and weight specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure all quality standards are met.
