Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking reproductive endocrinology and gynecology services, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinate preoperative and postoperative care for gynecological procedures, including scheduling surgeries, obtaining preoperative testing and clearances, and providing patient education and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, treatment plans, and correspondence with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain authorizations for procedures and treatments, and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries, billing, and financial arrangements.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, examinations, and treatments as needed, preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing patient assistance and support during procedures.
- Provide education and information to patients regarding reproductive health, gynecological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures, promoting patient empowerment and informed decision-making.
