Description

To carry out effective evaluation, treatment, and follow up of the IPD and OPD patients.
To maintain a steady dialogue with the respective doctors to provide optimal patient care.
Track the patients progress during treatment and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families about their medical condition, how to manage it, and how to prevent further injuries or complications.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring appropriate dosages and monitoring for potential side effects.
Educate patients about medication regimens, benefits, and potential risks.
Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as necessary.
Collaborate with emergency room staff or crisis teams to ensure timely and appropriate care for patients in crisis.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Provide consultations to medical and surgical teams on psychiatric aspects of patient care.
