Description

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations, including evaluating strength, flexibility, posture, and range of motion to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices to improve mobility and functional abilities.
  • Therapeutic Exercises: Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation) to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and strategies for injury prevention and management, fostering understanding and adherence to the treatment plan.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patients’ progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary based on their response to therapy and any changes in condition.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and coordinate treatment efforts.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and manage therapeutic equipment, ensuring proper functioning, safety standards, and availability for patient use.
