Description
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, musculoskeletal conditions, and functional limitations through interviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Administer therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy, to improve patients' physical function and quality of life.
- Provide hands-on treatment and instruction to patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and activities of daily living to facilitate recovery and prevent injury recurrence.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies for optimizing health and well-being.
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document treatment outcomes and goals in patient records.
- Manage administrative tasks related to patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims processing using electronic medical records (EMR) or practice management software.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment notes, progress reports, and treatment plans, in compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy standards.
