- A Rehabilitation Specialist in a rehabilitation center is responsible for assisting patients with physical, emotional, or mental disabilities to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
- This role involves developing personalized rehabilitation programs, providing therapeutic interventions, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions through various diagnostic techniques, such as physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
- Identify and diagnose movement dysfunction and physical disabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Utilize a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Educate patients and their families about the condition, treatment plan, and strategies for improvement.
- Provide guidance on exercises, posture, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
