Description

Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients to evaluate musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional status, including range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and mobility.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and medical history, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
Perform manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat therapy, cold therapy, and traction to facilitate tissue healing, reduce pain, and promote recovery.
Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, home exercise program, ergonomic principles, and injury prevention strategies to promote active participation in rehabilitation and self-management.
Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards and insurance requirements.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards in physiotherapy practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and maintaining professional boundaries.
