Description

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluating range of motion, muscle strength, flexibility, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patients' goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and heat/cold therapy.
Instruct and guide patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
Monitor patients' progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals and optimize outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies to promote active participation in the rehabilitation process.
Document all assessments, treatment sessions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining thorough and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to exchange knowledge, discuss patient progress, and coordinate care plans.
