Description
- Job Title: Phlebotomist
- Location: Nephro Care India Ltd (NCIL) - Kolkata, West Bengal
- Qualification: BMLT / DMLT
- Work Experience: 2 Years to 10 Years
- Perform blood sample collection via venipuncture, capillary puncture (finger/heel), and other standard collection techniques with minimal discomfort.
- Handle and process patient specimens accurately, ensuring proper labeling, identification and chain‑of‑custody compliance.
- Prepare and ensure the integrity of samples for transportation to the laboratory following NCIL SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Maintain infection control, biohazard handling, and safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe sharps disposal.
- Accurately enter patient and sample details into laboratory information systems / EMR.
- Provide excellent patient interaction, helping patients feel at ease and explaining procedures clearly.
