Description

Pharmacy Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures while providing high-quality patient care.
Staff Management and Training: Manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, by recruiting, training, scheduling, and providing ongoing development to ensure a skilled and efficient team.
Medication Management: Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions, and providing patient counseling on proper medication use.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate medication supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring availability of essential medications.
Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage the pharmacy budget, monitoring expenses and revenues, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring profitability.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice.
Patient Care Services: Promote and provide patient care services, such as medication therapy management, health screenings, and immunizations, enhancing overall patient health and outcomes.
