Job Description

1. Manage day-to-day operations of OPD, IPD, ICU, and Emergency pharmacy services.
2. Ensure accurate dispensing of medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
3. Maintain inventory control including stock levels, expiry tracking, FIFO/FEFO, and cold chain drugs.
4. Handle purchase indenting, vendor coordination, and timely availability of medicines.
5. Ensure compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Council rules, and NABH standards.
6. Supervise, train, and manage pharmacists and pharmacy support staff with proper duty rosters.
7. Maintain statutory registers, narcotic drug records, and audit documentation.
8. Coordinate with doctors, nursing, and administration to ensure safe, efficient medication management.
