Description

Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy dispensing area, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and disposing of expired or damaged medications.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate staff members for assistance.
Process prescription orders and refill requests, verify patient information and insurance coverage, and enter prescription data accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
Assist in maintaining pharmacy records and documentation, including patient profiles, medication dispensing logs, and inventory records, in compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Prepare and package medications for delivery or shipment to patients, healthcare facilities, or long-term care facilities, following established procedures and protocols.
Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, stocking, and organizing medication supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with inventory counts and audits.
Operate pharmacy equipment such as prescription dispensing systems, pill counters, and label printers safely and effectively, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
