Description

Medication Dispensing Support: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with prescriptions and regulatory guidelines.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries regarding medications, dosage instructions, and potential side effects, under the guidance of a pharmacist.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of medications and supplies, including ordering, receiving, and restocking items, as well as checking expiration dates.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of prescriptions filled, medication transfers, and inventory logs, ensuring compliance with health regulations and pharmacy policies.
Patient Education: Support pharmacists in providing educational materials to patients about medications, including instructions on proper usage, storage, and potential interactions.
Preparation of IV Solutions: Assist in the preparation of intravenous (IV) solutions and sterile products, following proper aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Assisting with Insurance Claims: Help in processing insurance claims and resolving billing issues, ensuring that patients receive appropriate coverage for their medications.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant working environment, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
