- The Pharmacist serves as a key resource for clinical expertise and collaborates with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:-
Pharmacy Operations Management: - Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Supervise and mentor junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
Dispensing and Patient Care: - Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide advanced counselling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Address complex medication-related queries from patients and healthcare providers.
Inventory Management: - Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Monitor expiry dates and handle disposal of outdated medications.
Regulatory Compliance: - Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain detailed records for prescriptions, transactions, and audits.
Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: - Communicate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions or suggest alternatives.
- Contribute to treatment plans and provide drug information as needed.
Customer Service: - Address customer inquiries regarding medications and health-related issues.
- Ensure a friendly and professional experience for all patients.
