Pharmacist

Job Summary:

• The Pharmacist is responsible for providing support to the pharmacists and customers in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting. This role involves dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process prescription orders from customers.
• Count and label medication prescriptions.
• Prepare prescription orders for pharmacist review and approval.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving medication supplies.
• Answer customer inquiries about medication, side effects, and usage.
• Process payments and insurance claims.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the pharmacist.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant certification or relevant training preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of basic pharmacy procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer and cash register operations.
