Description

Responsibilities:

To control & monitor the activities of overall Hospital Pharmacy

Billing & dispensing medications following prescriptions issued by an authorized/ registered medical

practitioner.

Responsible for 100% availability keeping the inventory in check.

Supervises and maintains cleanliness and order in Hospital Pharmacy

To discuss with the concerned operation in charge regarding any concession to be given for any

patient & keeping a track of that.

Performs or oversees the performance of packaging, labelling, measuring, compounding, storing,

charging, and recording medications used in patient care.

All the expired or near expiry medicines should be sent to the stockist for credit note

Responsible for the non-movement stocks in the pharmacy & consult with the consultants regularly

regarding the liquidation.

Providing counselling to patients regarding correct drug dosage & its side effects.

To make discharge process faster, pharmacy should do the return of medicine as early as possible

Inventories, orders, and maintains supply of drugs, chemicals, and other pharmaceutical stock.

Advises patients and care providers of potential drug interactions, possible side effects, storage

information, and instructions on how to use medications.

Checking dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly, accurately and safely supplied and

labelled (pharmacists are legally responsible for any dispensing errors);

To maintain record of Narcotic & psychotropic drugs liaising with doctors about prescriptions.

Follow the process while dispensing Narcotic drugs

During scrutiny of all the medicine status, the expiry date, batch no etc. of each & everyday should be seen regularly

Coordinating with the stockists for drugs & ensuring the right PO/ GRN should be done.

To Coordinate with other Onco Cancer clinics & keeping a track of pharmacy movement.

Managing separating the LASA drugs & labelling the high-risk drugs

To prepare formulary for the financial year

To oversee the margins and profitability

To look after the overall procurement of the centre

To manage the inventory of the centre (Pharma and Non- Pharma)

Vendor negotiation for service level collaterals

To prepare monthly audit report for pharma and non-pharma items.

Identification and Reporting of any medications error and adverse drug reaction.

What we are looking for:

Min Qualification B Pharmacy.

At least 3years of Exp.

Person independently running pharmacy will be preferred.

Having knowledge of inventory management.

Exposure of oncology will be an advantage.

Exposure of drug mixing & ADR reporting would be an advantage.

Min knowledge of MS office is must.
