Description

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, through history-taking, physical examinations, and developmental screenings.
Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical assessments, laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic modalities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients, incorporating evidence-based medical therapies, preventive care, and parental counseling.
Provide well-child care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments, to promote optimal health and well-being.
Manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses, including infections, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, allergic reactions, and developmental delays, through medication management, lifestyle modifications, and supportive care.
Address pediatric emergencies and urgent care needs, including trauma, seizures, respiratory distress, and anaphylaxis, with prompt and effective interventions.
Provide anticipatory guidance and parental education on child development, nutrition, safety, immunizations, and common childhood illnesses to promote healthy lifestyles and preventive healthcare practices.
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for pediatric patients with complex medical needs.
