Description

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and physical examinations of pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions and illnesses, including acute and chronic diseases, developmental disorders, and behavioral health concerns.
Provide well-child care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and developmental screenings, to monitor growth and development and promote optimal health.
Educate parents and caregivers about child health, nutrition, safety, and preventive measures, offering guidance and support to promote healthy lifestyles.
Collaborate with pediatric nurses, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems, including medical histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Stay informed about current guidelines, protocols, and best practices in pediatric medicine through continuing medical education (CME) activities, conferences, and professional literature.
