Job Description

  1. Manage critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
  2. Lead pediatric critical care teams including residents, nurses, and allied staff.
  3. Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamics, and organ support systems.
  4. Respond to pediatric emergencies and perform resuscitation as needed.
  5. Implement PICU protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety initiatives.
  6. Counsel families on treatment plans, prognosis, and critical care decisions.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation and PICU records.
  8. Participate in clinical rounds, audits, research, and teaching activities.
