Job description

• The Paediatric Consultant is responsible for providing medical care and treatment to infants, children, and adolescents.
• The role requires the individual to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases affecting children
• The Consultant must have extensive knowledge and experience in pediatrics and must keep up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices.
• Provide advanced medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and trauma.
• Perform emergency procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and mechanical ventilation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for critically ill children.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and timely interventions for patient stabilization.
• Communicate with families, offering guidance and emotional support during treatment.
