Description

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and preserving dignity.
Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisory personnel.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, offering a listening ear, empathy, and reassurance during challenging times.
Assist patients with medication reminders and administration under the direction of healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to prescribed medication schedules.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, considering dietary restrictions, preferences, and nutritional needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients, ensuring infection control measures, fall prevention, and patient comfort.
Assist patients with mobility aids, transfers, and ambulation exercises, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent injuries.
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including oral care, skin care, hair care, and nail care, maintaining hygiene standards and promoting patient well-being.
Document patient care activities, observations, and relevant information accurately and promptly in patient records or shift reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
