Description

Perform technical procedures and tasks under the direction of healthcare professionals in designated hospital departments, including laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, or surgical services.
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment, instruments, and machinery used in diagnostic procedures, medical imaging, pharmaceutical services, or surgical interventions, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Assist healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, sample processing, diagnostic testing, medical imaging, medication dispensing, surgical preparations, or other technical tasks as needed.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of equipment, supplies, and work areas within the hospital department, adhering to infection control protocols, regulatory requirements, and departmental policies.
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures or surgical interventions by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing assistance to healthcare providers during patient care activities.
Provide technical support and assistance during medical emergencies, trauma cases, or code situations by responding promptly, assembling emergency equipment, and assisting with resuscitation efforts as directed.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, providing information, instructions, and support in a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner.
Document technical procedures, patient information, equipment maintenance logs, quality control records, and other relevant information accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
