Description

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of patients presenting with ear, nose, throat, head, or neck symptoms, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of ENT conditions and disorders, including but not limited to otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, rhinitis, laryngitis, hearing loss, vertigo, nasal polyps, and head and neck cancers.
  • Perform specialized diagnostic procedures, such as audiometry, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and fiberoptic nasopharyngoscopy, to assess patients' ENT health and aid in diagnosis.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results, imaging studies, and laboratory findings to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe medications, including antibiotics, corticosteroids, antihistamines, and analgesics, and provide medical treatments, such as nasal sprays, ear drops, and throat lozenges, to manage ENT conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures to treat ENT conditions, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, and head and neck cancer surgery.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding their ENT conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures, postoperative care, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, allergists, neurologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients with complex ENT conditions.
