Description

Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of patients presenting with ear, nose, throat, head, or neck symptoms, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat a variety of ENT conditions and disorders, including but not limited to otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, rhinitis, laryngitis, hearing loss, vertigo, nasal polyps, and head and neck cancers.
Perform specialized diagnostic procedures, such as audiometry, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and fiberoptic nasopharyngoscopy, to assess patients' ENT health and aid in diagnosis.
Interpret diagnostic test results, imaging studies, and laboratory findings to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications, including antibiotics, corticosteroids, antihistamines, and analgesics, and provide medical treatments, such as nasal sprays, ear drops, and throat lozenges, to manage ENT conditions.
Perform surgical procedures to treat ENT conditions, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, sinus surgery, and head and neck cancer surgery.
Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding their ENT conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures, postoperative care, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with audiologists, speech-language pathologists, allergists, neurologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients with complex ENT conditions.
