Description

Set up treatment areas according to therapists' instructions, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
Assist occupational therapists in providing direct patient care, including helping patients with therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living, and mobility training.
Observe and document patients' responses to therapy interventions, reporting any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist.
Clean and maintain therapy equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working condition and properly stocked at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling patient appointments, updating patient records, and billing for services rendered.
Provide education to patients and their families about therapy procedures, techniques, and home exercise programs as directed by the occupational therapist.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean therapy environment. Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
