Qualification & Experience

• Diploma OT Assistant from a recognized university.
• At least 2-3 years experience in Operation Theater
• Candidate has to work in 2 rotational shifts. Morning Shift, Evening Shift & Night Shift.
• Language: MARATHI, HINDI & ENGLISH is Mandatory

Principal Responsibilities:                                                                                                               

• Helping in arranging patient’s trolley and transferring to and from the operation theatre.
• To be responsible that the OT is in fit condition i.e. cleaned and sterilized.
• To assist in making position of the patient on the table.
• To ensure that trolley has all the instruments, equipments, drugs, syringes etc.
• Packing of syringes, instruments and special trays.
• Washing and cleaning of gloves, instruments, needles and syringes etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the dept. and dusting of issuing area, sterilization area.
• Messenger service to the wards and department.
• To change the gas cylinder.
• Strict adherence to Infection Control Policies & proper handling of bio-medical waste generated.
• Adherence to Hospital’s dress code.
