<ul><li>Prepare and set up the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.</li><li>Assist in positioning the patient on the operating table to ensure optimal access for surgery.</li><li>Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure, assisting the surgical team as required.</li><li>Operate and monitor surgical instruments and equipment during the procedure.</li><li>Ensure proper disposal of used materials, such as drapes, gauze, and instruments, in accordance with infection control protocols.</li><li>Provide technical support to the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and other materials during the surgery.</li><li>Record and monitor patient data, including vital signs, and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.</li><li>Assist in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and the operating room post-procedure.</li><li>Ensure the availability of emergency surgical supplies and equipment in case of complications.</li></ul>
