<ul><li>Prepare the operating room by ensuring it is sterile and organized with all necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>Assist in the positioning of patients on the operating table to ensure their comfort and safety during surgery.</li><li>Handle and sterilize surgical instruments before, during, and after operations, following established infection control protocols.</li><li>Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, holding tools, and performing other tasks as directed by the surgeon.</li><li>Monitor and maintain surgical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly throughout the procedure.</li><li>Prepare and manage surgical drapes, gowns, and other sterile materials to ensure the operating area is prepared in compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Assist in setting up and maintaining anesthesia equipment to support the anesthesiologist or anesthesia provider.</li><li>Record and document patient data, including vital signs and surgical procedure details, in the patient’s medical records.</li></ul>
