Description

Assist in the setup and maintenance of the operating room (OT) before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, tools, and medical equipment, ensuring they are in working condition and meet safety standards.
Support surgeons and medical staff during surgeries by providing required instruments and ensuring smooth workflow in the OT.
Monitor and manage sterilization processes for surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with hospital infection control policies.
Ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, verifying patient information, and assisting with patient positioning for surgery.
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, equipment used, and patient data to ensure proper documentation.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of OT equipment, including sterilizers, surgical lights, anesthesia machines, and other medical devices.
Collaborate with other healthcare staff, such as nurses and anesthetists, to ensure a coordinated and efficient surgical process.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control, hygiene standards, and equipment handling protocols.
