<ul><li>Prepare and maintain the operating room (OR) for surgical procedures, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment, and sterile conditions.</li><li>Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthetists during surgeries by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and support.</li><li>Sterilize and set up surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition before procedures.</li><li>Monitor and maintain the sterilization of surgical instruments using autoclaves and other sterilization methods.</li><li>Assist in positioning patients on the operating table and ensure proper draping for each procedure.</li><li>Handle and dispose of surgical waste and sharps safely and according to hospital protocols to maintain a safe environment.</li><li>Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly and is available as needed throughout the surgery.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, equipment usage, and inventory in the operating theater.</li><li>Work with the surgical team to maintain a smooth workflow, assisting with patient preparation and post-operative recovery when required.</li></ul>
