<ul><li>Prepare and maintain the operation theatre, including sterilization of instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.</li><li>Assist in patient positioning and draping, ensuring proper sterilization protocols are followed.</li><li>Provide support to surgeons and other medical staff during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and handling surgical supplies.</li><li>Monitor and manage surgical instruments and equipment to ensure their proper functioning and readiness.</li><li>Assist in setting up and operating various surgical equipment and technologies, such as electrocautery units, suction devices, and endoscopic systems.</li><li>Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control practices and ensuring the cleanliness of the operation theatre.</li><li>Help with the transfer and positioning of patients to the recovery area.</li><li>Clean and sterilize the operation theatre and all used instruments after each procedure.</li></ul>
