Description

Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for surgery by assisting with the application of sterile dressings, positioning, and ensuring the readiness of the operating room.
Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize and organize surgical instruments, ensuring they are readily available for use during surgical procedures.
Equipment Setup: Set up and maintain surgical equipment, including monitoring devices and specialized tools required for various procedures.
Assist Surgeons and Nurses: Provide support to surgical teams during procedures, handing instruments, and anticipating the needs of surgeons and nurses.
Postoperative Care: Assist in postoperative care by monitoring patients in the recovery room, helping with wound care, and ensuring a smooth transition to the post-anesthesia care unit.
Maintain Sterile Environment: Strictly adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Documentation: Record and maintain accurate documentation of procedures, instrument counts, and other relevant information.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and safety protocols through continuous education and training.
