OT Technician

Preoperative Preparation:

• Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of the operation theatre.
• Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before surgical procedures.
• Set up and test medical equipment, including anesthesia machines and monitors.

Assistance During Surgical Procedures:

• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgeries.
• Prepare and handle sterile drapes, solutions, and dressings.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.

Instrument Sterilization and Maintenance:

• Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Monitor and maintain the functionality of sterilization equipment.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking of supplies.

Patient Preparation and Transfer:

• Assist in transferring patients to and from the operating room.
• Position and prepare patients on the operating table, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure proper patient identification and safety measures.
