Description

Prepare operating theatre rooms before surgical procedures, ensuring that all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and properly set up according to surgical protocols.
Assist surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies as requested, anticipating the needs of surgeons and maintaining a sterile field.
Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning patients on the operating table, securing monitoring devices, and applying sterile drapes to the surgical site.
Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including anesthesia machines, surgical lights, and patient monitors, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
Monitor patients' vital signs and assist anesthesia providers with administering anesthesia and airway management during surgical procedures.
Assist with patient transfer and positioning during surgery, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in the operating theatre, including proper hand hygiene, gowning, and gloving procedures.
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and equipment, such as autoclaves and instrument washers.
