- Job Title: OT Staff Nurse
- Qualification: DNB
- Location: Signature Advanced Super Multispeciality Hospital - Gurugram, Haryana
- Work Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Job Description
- Prepare operation theatre by ensuring sterilization and readiness of instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures as scrub or circulating nurse.
- Prepare patients for surgery including verification, positioning and skin preparation.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control throughout procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments, sponges, needles and maintain accurate counts.
- Monitor patient condition during surgery and report any abnormalities to anesthetist or surgeon.
- Assist in shifting patients to recovery room and provide proper handover to recovery staff.
- Clean and restock OT with instruments, linen and consumables after procedures.
- Maintain OT registers, surgical records and instrument inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards and OT protocols.
