<ul><li>Prepare the operating room for surgery, including the sterilization of instruments, setup of surgical supplies, and ensuring all necessary equipment is functioning.</li><li>Assist with patient positioning and draping according to surgical procedures.</li><li>Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after surgical procedures.</li><li>Provide support and reassurance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns and explaining procedures as needed.</li><li>Assist in the transfer of patients to the recovery area and provide immediate post-operative care, including monitoring vital signs and managing pain.</li><li>Document post-operative observations and report any complications or concerns to the supervising physician or OT Incharge.</li><li>Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sterilization of instruments.</li><li>Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures for infection control and safety.</li></ul>
