OT Scrub Technician

Equipment Preparation:

• Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment needed for procedures.
• Ensure the operating room is set up with the required tools, supplies, and sterile drapes.

Assisting Surgeons:

• Hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, anticipating their needs.
• Maintain a sterile field by following proper aseptic techniques throughout the surgery.

Sterilization Procedures:

• Operate sterilization equipment to ensure all instruments are properly sterilized.
• Regularly check and monitor the sterility of instruments and equipment.

Patient Preparation:

• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the operating room.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate activities and respond to the surgical team's needs.

Emergency Response:

• Be prepared to assist during emergency situations, following established protocols.
• Quickly respond to requests for additional instruments or supplies.
