<ul><li>Assist in preparing the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, organized, and ready for use.</li><li>Scrub in, maintain a sterile field, and assist surgeons by handing them instruments, sutures, and other materials during surgery.</li><li>Ensure that the surgical site is properly prepared, including the appropriate draping of the patient and assisting with positioning.</li><li>Act as a key part of the sterile team, maintaining vigilance in monitoring sterile techniques throughout the procedure.</li><li>Monitor the patient’s condition during surgery, ensuring vital signs are stable, and report any abnormalities to the anesthesiologist or surgeon.</li><li>Assist in patient positioning and ensure that patient comfort and safety are maintained throughout the surgery.</li><li>Ensure all surgical instruments and materials used are accounted for and securely disposed of after use, preventing retained surgical items.</li><li>Help in the safe transportation of the patient to and from the operating theatre, and assist in recovery as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
