Professional competencies

• Must be familiar with basic functioning and protocols of the Operation theatre.
• Excellent knowledge about functioning of major equipment in the OT such as Laparoscopy trolley, Harmonic, Cautery etc.
• Knowledge about patient positioning.
• Knowledge about sterilisation/ cleaning of OT instruments.
• Good basic surgical skills such as suturing/ assisting/ retracting.
• Exposure to Laparoscopy and instruments is must.

Key deliverables, among other things:

• You will be responsible to assist doctor during surgery.
• You will be required to properly clean, sterilise and store OT equipment and instruments.
• You might have to travel outstation/ abroad with doctor to assist in surgeries (additional incentive for outstation work).
